National Night Out in Northridge – August 3, 2010

Matadors Community Credit Union – in conjunction with Northridge100 - is a community partner of National Night Out! Come out to Northridge Park, Tuesday, August 3, 2010 for free food, fun, movie and prizes!

They will be showing Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs at sundown and will have limited food and giveaways. They’ll also be celebrating Northridge’s birthday with a birthday cake! Festivities will start around 6 pm and will continue throughout the night, ending with the movie at nightfall.

National Night Out is America’s Night Out Against Crime!

NATIONAL NIGHT OUT is designed to:

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
  • Generate support for, and participation in, local anticrime programs;
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
  • Send a message to criminals letting them know that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.
